	Web Site Design I offer sound advice and experience in using graphic programs to enhance your internet presence. I can take your existing web site and re-create it or build the site from the ground up, working with you every step of the way. The cost of creating a website can vary depending on the size of the site, how many pages and the complexity of each page. I offer a free consultation to determine the initial cost of creating your site. Domain Name Registration: (ie. www.yourname.com) It's a good idea to have a list of possible names for your site in advance to meeting with me. We can then do a search to see if one of the names is available. If so, we can register the domain name right away without even having your web site ready. This will speed up the process for when we are ready to upload your web site to the internet. IMPORTANT: It is wise for you to do a database search of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office before choosing an internet domain name. Although the name may be available on the internet, that doesn't necessarily make it free from trademark infringements! It would be sad to loose the rights to use your domain name should a company already own it in the "real" world. Note: We do not take any responsibility for you loosing your domain name due to trademark infringements, so please check first. Hosting Your Site Once your domain name is registered and your site has been created, we can choose one of the many site hosting plans available that will fit your needs. Once your site is "live" we will submit it to all the major search engines on the internet to help bring visitors to it. Please keep in mind that it can take up to 6 months for some internet directories to categorize your site, so be patient. Also important to know is our site submission software is designed to place strategic code into your site that will boost the possibility of placing your site within the top 10-20 on a search engine's list. This is important for reaching new customers. Your site will be hooked up to redundant connections to the internet, back-up power supplies and a back-up generator. Your data will be backed up daily.
